Review
The album consists of 4 tracks out of which amitabhji has sung 3.
As this is an action flick, expectations from this one aren’t much.  But since vishal-shekhar  are the composers, one looks forward to it.

The first track ‘haal-e-dil’ sung by amitji is a slow romantic number which is soulful and touches the heart. The ease with which it is sung shows the power of amitji as a singer. The use of instruments is minimal as the focus is on the vocals which displays emotions.

The second track is the title track again sung by him in a style that is never before used in indian music ie. Acapella. In this particular style , there is no use of real instrument and all the voices that are heard in the background are rendered by the singer himself. Amitji has done a wonderful job as a singer and vishal-shekhar have created a whackiest title track ever. kudos to them for such an innovative effort.

The third track is another version of the title which is a dub step version. This time vishal is supporting him in the singing department. It is quite similar to the previous track with some additional musical arrangements.

The last track of the album ‘main chandigarh di star’ is a punjabi item number sung by sunidhi chauhan.  It has some peppy beats but the lyrics are hard to comprehend. It will have a limited appeal.
Overall, the album is quite decent with haal-e-dil being a soulful romantic song and a chartbusting title track.
